Confidentiality & Privacy Notice

This application is operated by AK Legal (Ana Kraljevic, Barrister & Solicitor) to assist with the preparation of Ontario Family Court Form 13 and Form 13.1 Financial Statements. Please read this notice carefully before using the application.

1. Solicitor-Client Privilege

All information you provide through this application is subject to solicitor-client privilege. It will not be disclosed to any third party except as required by law or with your express consent.

2. What Information Is Collected

This application collects and stores the following information:

  • Your email address and account credentials
  • Financial information you enter, including income, expenses, assets, and debts
  • Documents you upload (pay stubs, bank statements, Notices of Assessment)
  • Partially and fully completed Form 13 / Form 13.1 data
3. Third-Party Services

This application relies on the following third-party services, which may process your data:

Railway (railway.app)
This application and its database are hosted on Railway's servers, located in the United States. Railway stores your account information and all form data you save. Railway's privacy policy is available at railway.app/legal/privacy.

Anthropic (anthropic.com)
When you upload a pay stub or similar document, text extracted from that document is sent to Anthropic's API (Claude) to identify relevant financial figures. Anthropic processes this data on servers in the United States. Anthropic does not use API inputs to train its models. Anthropic's privacy policy is available at anthropic.com/legal/privacy.

4. How Your Information Is Used

Your information is used solely to generate your Form 13 or Form 13.1 Financial Statement. It is not sold, shared, or used for any other purpose.

5. Data Retention

Your form data is retained in your account until you delete it or request its deletion. Completed and in-progress forms remain accessible when you log in so you can continue or revise your work.

6. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting AK Legal at ana@anaklegal.com.

7. Security

All data is encrypted at rest using AES-256 and transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. Passwords are stored using a one-way cryptographic hash and are never readable by anyone, including AK Legal. Access to your data requires your login credentials, and you are responsible for keeping your password confidential.
